ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has notified a seven-member committee to finalize a proposal and details of digitizing payments for fuel stations in Pakistan.
The committee will comprise Mr Sharjeel Murtaza, Chief Digital Officer—Karandaaz as chairman. However, representative of FBR to be nominated by FBR Chairman, representative of Payment System Department to be nominated by Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan, representative of the OGRA to be nominated by OGRA chairman, representative of Oil Companies Advisory Council to be nominated by OCAC Chairman, representative of Jazz Pakistan and Mr Ali Jan, consultant FBR Digitalization Reforms would be the members of the committee.
Karandaaz will provide secretarial support for the committee and submit the proposal to the Finance Ministry and FBR. Ends
