ISLAMABAD: Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), received Ambassador Adel Gilani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Morocco, where he discussed the development of cooperation in the educational, scientific and cultural fields, says a press release issued from Rabat.

 

During the meeting held on Monday, September 1, 2025, at ISESCO headquarters in Rabat, Dr. Al-Malik renewed the organization’s full solidarity with the Pakistani authorities and its readiness to support national efforts to recover from the damage caused to the country as a result of the violent floods hit by the end of last August.

 

For his part, Ambassador Gilani appreciated ISESCO’s position in support of Pakistan in the wake of floods that claimed the lives of a number of citizens and destroyed a number of buildings and educational institutions, praising the organization’s roles in supporting its member states.

 

The meeting witnessed a discussion of the latest developments in joint cooperation between ISESCO and Pakistan, as it was agreed to implement projects and activities during the coming period in the fields of building youth capacities and employing the latest artificial intelligence technologies.
