ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) has been honored as Pakistan’s top corporate philanthropist at the Corporate Philanthropy Awards 2025, held in Islamabad. The prestigious accolade, presented by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP), recognizes OGDC as the largest corporate contributor in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending across the country.
The award was formally received by OGDC MD/CEO Ahmed Hayat Lak from Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, in a ceremony celebrating companies making meaningful contributions to social development and community welfare.
Addressing the audience, Mr. Lak said, “OGDC is not only Pakistan’s largest company in terms of market capitalization, but also the largest corporate spender on CSR. Our CSR policy focuses on working closely with communities in our operational areas, partnering with PCP-certified NGOs, and ensuring long-term sustainable impact. We will continue to enhance our initiatives with greater focus and responsibility.”
